About the area
Hialeah is the working-class Cuban heart of Miami-Dade, and it wears that identity with pride. This is a city of front porches and family-owned ventanitas, of grandparents on the block and kids riding bikes after school. Daily life happens in Spanish here, from the bakery on the corner to the hardware store to the parish, and that is part of what makes it feel like home to so many families who came to Miami looking for exactly this kind of place.
The housing here leans practical and attainable: single-family houses, duplexes, and small apartment buildings rather than glass towers, with a heavy rental mix that has long been a first step for new arrivals. It is a city you can put down roots in without reaching for Brickell prices. For us, it is also personal. Our brokerage is headquartered right here on W 35th Street, so when we talk about Hialeah, we are talking about our own neighbors, our own streets, and the place we show up to work every morning.

Day to day
Cafecito at the ventanita, croquetas, panaderias on nearly every corner, and a Cuban cultural pulse you feel walking down Palm Avenue. This is everyday Miami at its most authentic.
Served by Miami-Dade County Public Schools, with neighborhood elementary, middle, and high schools plus charter and magnet options nearby. We will point you to the assigned schools for any address you are considering, no invented ratings.
A mostly flat, gridded city that is easy to drive, with a Tri-Rail station and Metrorail access at the south end and quick connections to the Palmetto and I-75. Many errands are close enough to walk; for most commutes you will still want a car.
